👁️

Our Vision

To provide every Gujarat farmer with a middleman-free market and double their income through Tulsi and other medicinal crops — making them financially strong and dignified.

🎯

Our Mission

Scientifically cultivate Tulsi, provide top-quality lab-tested saplings, and ensure risk-free farming by guaranteeing purchase at contract prices right at the farm gate.

🏆

Our Goals

Zero-risk farming, continuous technical guidance, purchase guarantee, and complete training in modern harvesting methods.

The Smarter Crop Choice for Gujarat

Compared to timber, horticulture, vegetables, and traditional crops — Tulsi offers the best combination of low investment, fast returns, and minimal risk.

Fastest Return Cycle

First harvest ready in just 80–90 days. Subsequent harvests every 70–80 days. Receive cash in hand every 3–4 months.

💧

Minimal Water Requirement

Tulsi thrives even in water-scarce areas of Gujarat. Low irrigation needs mean lower input costs and higher profits.

🛡️

Naturally Disease Resistant

Tulsi has very few pests and diseases, eliminating expensive pesticide costs that burden other crops.

🦌

Wildlife Safe Crop

Nilgai, wild pigs, and other animals do not eat Tulsi. No crop damage from wildlife — a major advantage over vegetables.

📋

Guaranteed Purchase Contract

Pre-fixed prices before sowing. No market volatility risk. We buy directly from your farm at contracted rates.

🔄

Multi-Year Productivity

Once planted, Tulsi continues productive harvesting for 18–24 months before replanting — 6 full cutting cycles per plant.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is contract Tulsi farming?
In contract farming, Tulsi Agro Farms LLP provides you with lab-tested saplings and signs an agreement guaranteeing purchase of your harvested crop at a pre-fixed price. You grow on your own land; we handle the market.
How much land do I need to start?
You can start with as little as half an acre. Most of our partners begin with 1–3 acres and expand as they see results. The financials shown on this page are based on 1 full acre.
What if my crop fails or prices fall?
Our contract guarantees a minimum buyback price regardless of market fluctuations. Since prices are fixed before sowing, you are completely protected from market volatility.
Is government subsidy available for Tulsi farming?
Yes. The National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) offers 30–75% subsidies on medicinal crop farming. AYUSH Ministry provides training support, and NABARD offers low-interest agricultural loans. We assist you in availing all eligible benefits.
When will I receive my first payment?
Your first cutting is ready approximately 80–90 days after transplanting. Payment is made transparently at delivery time. Subsequent harvests come every 70–80 days, giving you cash flow every 3–4 months.
Which varieties of Tulsi do you cultivate?
We primarily cultivate Shyam Tulsi (Krishna/Black Tulsi) which has the highest medicinal properties, and Ram Tulsi (green-leafed variety). Our team recommends the best variety based on your soil and region.
What training and support do you provide?
We provide complete training in modern cultivation methods, harvesting techniques, and post-harvest handling. Our field officers conduct regular farm visits and are available for guidance throughout the crop cycle.
